punk vs pop

If yr idea of PUNK is alkaline trio, green day, good charlotte, or blink-182, yr perception of reality is certainly skewed. These bands are poppy. POP. Genres are debatable (pointless/useless) most of the time, but I'm sick of people throwing that word around and the stigma that goes with it. Worst of all, fucking MALL PUNKS.
Yes, punk is a sound, but its more of an idea & a way of life.

Go buy a fucking buzzcocks or bad brains record.
